Why can’t I see my NFT in my wallet on MetaMask?
i just minted an NFT via metamask, but my wallet says that it's empty. i also don't know how to find it on opensea. where can i access my newly minted NFTs?

If you fo to Opensea sea on the right hand side top... you will see the profile (like alittelperson) symbol if you click in there you can connect your metamask wallet to open sea (click connect then sign )
once is connected the circle will change colour( click in there) , then you will be able to go to your profile in open sea, and click on collected ( left hand side horizontal menu ) you will se your NFTs in there
Really good question! MetaMask as a browser extension sadly doesn't show NFTs yet, though they're working on it - MetaMask mobile does show NFTs directly, though only Ethereum NFTs are displayed in MetaMask, so if you just minted an NFT on Polygon or some other network, the best place to see it, as someone else mentioned, is on OpenSea!

Hi there. Just go to https://opensea.io/ and log in with your metamask. You should then be able to see you NFT in your profile on opensea.
theres a tab called "hidden" in opensea it should be there as long as its either on polygon or eth chain
NFTs by default don't appear in your metamask. NFT's are viewed on marketplace platforms like Opensea, LooksRare, Mintable, etc.
Currently both MetaMask Mobile and Coinbase Wallet (mobile) have NFT browsers but they're not very good at keeping themselves up to date. As an example, one NFT I minted did not update the image for weeks and there was no way to tell the app to refresh the metadata. Eventually it did fix itself. Also, MetaMask Mobile's NFT browser will show Polygon NFTs but it will only do it while your currently selected network is Polygon instead of Ethereum.
you can import the nft into your MM wallet. you need the contract and token number., polygon and ethereum nfts show up in the mobile MM
