Is it safe to send all spam/scam airdrops to a burn address?
Are there any known instances of that being used to scam?

I think its just easier to not interact or just throw it in the hidden folder, sending every scam related thing you get to burn addy could use a good amount of gas, if you get as many as the average person. It can also help to check the comments section on etherscan on occasion as well
not interacting with it is the best bet, but incase its on the solana blockchain you can burn it via www.sol-incinerator.com/#/ (u also get little fees for burning) draffle.io is also an amazing tool to close token accounts i am yet to see anything like that on the etheruem blockchain, so not interacting is the best bet in that case
For the most part, trying to send them to the burn address is generally safe. However, I wouldn't recommend it:
- It costs gas to transfer and you're going to get more of these. So it's simply not tenable to keep a wallet "clean."
- Many scam tokens are pretty much the OG of soulbound tokens. Specifically, many of these scam tokens can't be transferred by anybody but the contract owner (the scammer). Attempts to transfer will result in an error message, which often tells you "go to this site https://sounds-like-a-scam.xyz to unlock this token". The site it redirects you to is the real scam. Interacting with transactions from that site are likely to cause you to lose your assets. I would expect the only transfers you'll be able to issue move your stuff to the scammer, not the scam token to somewhere else.
