Are there Web3/blockchain insurance protocols?

It seems weird that with all of the NFT rug pulls and DeFi bridge exploits that there aren't any protocols that insure users of various Web3 infrastructures of their assets

NFT insurance is something that has been considered but still not really well established. https://www.iamagazine.com/markets/nft-insurance-understanding-the-challenges-and-solutions As for web3 insurance projects, it's inherently something you can't code up in a smart contract without being vulnerable to being exploited as well. I would argue that it would be impossible to write a smart contract that would be able to distinguish between a legitimate claim versus claim fraud. And so, insurance of these assets would therefore depend on a human to decide.

Hi bread, afaik I haven't heard of any yet. It's still the wild west in the nft space, still early. There are however escrow protocols that help to trade nfts and tokens ''trustlessly'' like nfttrader, sudoswap, etc.. but always dyor.
