The example comes to mine is an NFT project called Martian Premier League. They sold out a 10k project under 24 hours during a "weak" nft market (second week of March). They didn't do anything out of the ordinary in terms of mechanics / initiatives BUT the volume was unheard of (at least to me). I've been in the NFT space since September and I've never seen someone (Corey) do so many discord ama's and twitter spaces. I didn't know where he got the stamina / energy. He did roughly 90-100 spaces/amas (45-90 min) leading up to mint. The team did small alpha groups, large ones, medium projects, sometimes an ama with 7 people, etc.

They were everywhere. Word of mouth spreads quickly in this space. Also the effort was seen. People (imo) notice the effort being put in an ama. He gave well spoken, thoughtful answers and wasn't phased for having been asked the same question hundreds of times.

You would think this would stop post mint, but amas are still done weekly and there's even a Marscast every Wednesday with a founder. So great stuff to listen to while the team is working in the background working on the game (coming out June).
